Sina Ibn Jamali

Lieutenant General Sina Ibn Jamali was the president of Bangladesh Cricket Board from August 2007 to September 2009.[1] He was chief of general staff of the Bangladesh Army, and was appointed to the post by the previous military caretaker government when they dissolved the existing board.[2][3]

He was appointed chairman of the Local Organising Committee for the 2011 Cricket World Cup in July 2009.[4] The Bangladesh cricket team won their first test series against the West Indies during his presidency, in July 2009.[5]
